Caring for Your Newborn

It’s time to think about after baby arrives! What do those first few days and weeks look like when you arrive home from the hospital? How do you care for yourself, your new baby and family?
In this class, taught by NICU nurse Sheneka, RN, will equip new parents/caregivers with practical knowledge of how to care for their new bundle of joy!
– Care techniques (diaper changes, cord care, swaddling, burping)
– Verbalize feeding cues
– Determine adequate feedings
– Define SIDS and steps to prevent it
Whether this is your first baby, you are going to be a new grandparent, or are interested in babysitting, this class is a GEM! Don’t miss it!!!
