Ashley McCarty-Executive Director

I am a wife, mother of 4, Hormone Coach, and Wellness Advocate. After working in the medical field for over a decade, God called me to help women understand that there is better healthcare out there that works with their body to live WHOLE! It is now my mission to bring that knowledge to the women and families in the Memphis area.

I would love to walk with you on your journey!

Monica Townsend-Client Services Coordinator

I was born in Honduras, Central America and I have lived in Memphis, Tennessee since I was 19 years old, I have been passionate about healthcare from a young age, and I have worked in the medical field since I moved here. Guiding Star Memphis’s mission to empower women, guiding her on her fertility journey, and enabling a wholistic and natural feminism aligns with all that I believe as a woman. I feel blessed to work with a mission that focuses on empowering a woman to know her own body in a more natural and life-affirming way. As a wife and mother, I am humbled to be on this journey with you.

Emily Salao - CPST

I’m a mom and wife. My family is made up of my husband, who works in law enforcement and the military, and three sons. We own a small farm and I have worked in various positions in law enforcement for over a decade.

I’m here to help parents with all of their car seat needs. I’ve been a CPST since 2017 and seek out all I can learn about car seats, installation, and supporting the families I serve. You’ll get judgment free, honest, and sometimes blunt, information on keeping your kids safe in the vehicle.
